Morzine is just one of the 12 linked resorts in France and Switzerland which make up the vast Portes du Soleil ski area. The area covers a distance of 650km, making it the largest linked ski area in the world.
There are vast areas of off piste skiing: steep chutes, tree lined meadows, bottomless valleys, hanging cirques, and powder-packed bowls.
A network of 'discovery routes' around the Portes du Soleil vary according to ski level and duration, give you easy access to the area You can choose either blue red or black runs, and then follow the circuit.
